Nobles Bar, January 7th

Portnawak & The Woo shall return to Nobles Bar In Leith once again for a pub performance of passion, perfectionism, probity and prancing about.

This will be on the 7th of January , hopefully giving you enough time to have got over your fear of strong drink and public houses after your disgraceful behaviour at Hogmanay.

Remember......if the high quality of beverages available at this fine public house should tempt you, Fear Not! Portnawak shall be bringing along the Woo Temperance Society and those lovely ladies can keep anyone on the straight and narrow.

From 9pm

No support has yet been secured so if you would like to support us, let us know,
otherwise I feel a PNW&W vinyl session coming on! More Pressure!

Siblings reunited!

What a marvellous way to end a great year of gigs, weddings, shimmy shakedowns and Medievaldisco's...

Our wonderful harmonium-ist, flautist and church organist extraordinaire Edith Custard has been reunited with sister Agatha after 32 years.

Agatha (pictured) saw a performance by Portnawak and The Woo and was shocked to find her long lost sister pedalling away on the harmonium, which provides the 'wheezy, creaky, throbbing bedrock of the Portnawak sound'.

They have since had many afternoon teas to catch up on all the news from the last three decades. Hooray! Battenberg for all!
